Any other way to lift front hilux leafs?

Post by BadLux »

Hey I've got tough dog leafs in my front, and they are pretty flat now, however, I actually like the flex they give, instead of buying new leafs is there ANY way to block it etc?? You can't simply block it because of the steering but does anyone know how to get around this?? I'm on a budget, just want to bring the front up a lil bit.

Sure, get x-over and then the steering arm wont be in the way, then you can buy your cheap lifting blocks. :D

Seriously though, get extended shackles or dropped hangers as well. I think the shackles will be your cheapest option, I wouldn't put blocks in the front even if they didn't foul on the steering, its a tad dangerous.

agreed, shackles and dropped hangers, if the steering gets in the way u should look at cross over... or maybe just get ur springs reset to produce more lift

Yup shackle hanger underneath and dropped spring hangers give you a heap. Mine worked out to like 3 inches. When its on road I'm gonna have to flatten the packs heaps. Do em yourself and its a piece of piss and cheap as chips.
