clubs

Post by mabsydney »

I went to a Land Rover club meet once when I used to own a Pretender, it was very boring, just a bunch of old farts sitting around talking crap. AFter that experience I decided I wouldn't bother with clubs and would just go fourbying with mates..................but............
My mates don't wanna go out anymore, so now I'm thinking join a club. I wanna do some weekend trips and longer ones...........more into touring with a few hard bits.......not into rock crawling.
what clubs are you in and do you recomend them? (sydney)
Thanks,
Martin

clubs have their different factions and you'll find most of the people very friendly. It may take a while, but persist and you'll find the group you fit into who like the same type of trips (if not, run your own).
You'll also gain access to some areas that are closed to general public and learn to drive better into the bargain. And if you dont like it, just leave - nothing lost except a bit of cash.
