Just to help anyone out who might need to do this, as i i'm not real sure what the handbrake on the back of the transfer is supposed to do, it certainly never stopped my troopy from rolling...

Simply two pieces pf RHS, one 50x50x3mm - approx 350mm long, piece of RHS 40x40x3mm approx 80mm long, end caps, grinder and drill, and some grease.

I still have to make a mud/dust cover so it doesn't fill up with mud and dust. Which is normally what a mud and dust cover keeps out.

(i'm so proud of myself i had to show someone - missus wasn't all that stoked about it.. :D )

Also bolts to original holes (captive nuts) in chassis
easy to adjust
i had to get the short cable inner remade, cost $20 - cause you need to get a different end put on the join end, same end as the end which goes into the handbrake lever.

Using this, if you ever bust a cable, it's a standard 60 series rear cable, and almost standard front one, although i imagine it will be a long time before i break either.
