4runner Thermo fan swap

Post by tbjaus2000 »

I am helping a mate replace his nakkered clutch fan with a thermo fan. Does anyone know what thermo fans or twin fans, will fit into an 89 4runner. There doesn't seem to be enough room to fit a VN fan in..?

Thanks.

Most people go with AU's as they move a lot of air.
Some Magna's are pretty slim too.
Factory Surf's came with thermo fan's- I have an 86 with dual thermo's (maybe custom) and 92 with single thermo (definetly factory). Both are "pusher" type, obviously not as good as draw thru. A bolt in solution is only a wrecking yard away...
