is the rubber on each engine mount on a 1L sierra meant to be conected to the black steal cover because in my car when i took my engine out that the ruber looks like it snapped so i just dropped the engine on top of the to the 2 ruber ruber mounts.
its hard to explain when i have to write but i thaught i would ask you guys any way.

That does make sense but i have never looked at a Suzuki engine mount that closly, to me i think they have cracked and separated!

POS is correct. These engine mounts often separate at the bonded point, doesn't always look like an obvious tear or split.

This happened to my suzi as well, I took the whole mount to a rubber place, and the managed to glue it back on for me, super strong, for $50 for both mounts.

yeah one of mine is off aswell but i have just but it back in sitting there probably not a good idea tho have 2 get some news i spose

how much are the engine mounts new - you can buy hilux ones for $30 + GST each brand new?
