Post by Hobbz »

I finally found someone who can get me some DBA Rotors here in Scandinavia ...
So now the question is which ones for my GQ ? The 4000 series or the standard gold ones ?
And now we are at it what kind of pads should i get ?

hey hobbz
what are you going to be doing with them??
just remember that if your going cross drilled and slotted (they do brake easy) i reckon slotted is worth getting.

i dont know how the disks will cope while 4wding, eg braking (getting hot) then in water (getting cold).

Pads you will need will depend what your doing.. i was going to say bendix but i dont know how there 4wd pads go, so i cant comment.

cheers

Well it´s mostly touring, and ofcourse a little play time in the weekends.
After reading thru some old posts i have set my mind on some slotted rotors. But i cant figur out if i should get "standard slotted" or "4000 Performance series"
When you run 35´s a little better brake performance wont hurt :)

I am very interested in hearing more about your pump modifications !
what's been altered, what parts used and so on ... i need more power ;)

If i go GU brakes i need new rims and so on .... and it's not that easy to find a GU at the wreckers, if i find one it would cost an arm and a leg for the parts .... so that option is out ... for now anyways ...
