Can anyone tell me where to get stronger axles whether it's from another truck or an afermarket item?
Any help will be greatly appershated
Thanks for your time........
BTW... I did a search & couldn't find anything, there is proberly a thread out there but i can't find it so that is why i am asking......Cheers.

There are plans by PolyPerformance in California, USA to build 80 series axles out of 4340 alloy. They said they might consider making 40/70/75 or 60 series widths on custom made basis as the tooling is identical. No word on date of production.
Moser Engineering in Indiana, USA also has made them out of 4340 on a custom ordered basis. No idea on the costs though.
Where did your axles break? Pictures please?

I'll second thatI.M.P.O.S.E wrote:Yeah I agree! You are an animal man. And stock ?? What about the excessive amounts of boost that thing runs??!!Tidy42 wrote:maybe a driving still issue perhaps?
How about running a rear LSD and haultech traction control. Cheaper then a manual locker and you wont be putting as much strain on those axles

Axles break because they are too weak for what the driver wants to do with them. Changing lockers or driving styles is just masking the problem of weak axles. I'd be searching for some custom axles.

an autolocker will break axles alot easier than a manual locker due to the engaging and disengaging an auto locker does.beebee wrote:Axles break because they are too weak for what the driver wants to do with them. unless hes running 42" tyres the rear axles should be strong enough.
