Blended Diesel and waste vege oil

Post by pongo »

I can get heaps of free waste vege oil, I cant ( dont really wanna )make my own bio diesel or want to attempt a twin tank setup. What i am wondering is who here uses a mix of Diesel and waste vege oil ? what % are you running ? and, how many KM's travelled ? .

Ps and no more talk of paying excise. I'll deal with that if ever they find me :D
Cheers

Top Gear in the UK, did this sort of thing.
they took used vege oil (had to be used) added some Kero (not sure of the amount, but it wasn't a lot), shook it up poured it into a car, primed it, started it and drove off around there track.
