my 89 v6 seems to be a little smokey when she idles or left running for a while.

Q: why
any help appreciated

p.s. she doesnt smoke whilst driving and she seems to drive well etc she's been serviced at mitso last week and yeah what might be the reason cause i dunno.

sounds like valve stem seals to me. not a huge issue just a little embarassing at times. fairly easy to fix as well
92 NH Pajero, MQ Patrol 50mm lift. One has custom rust, dents & rattles, the other has a blown engine.

it's a common problem with the 3.0 v6 your looking at about $650 to get it fixed at a dealer.

yeah its blue smoke,im sure its nothing major just abit annoying.

i'll be getting it looked at shortly.
