best aerial for a gme tx3200?
Stick it in low and NAIL IT !!!!!!!!!!
The type of aerial you choose will depend on where and what you'll use it for. The type of radio makes no difference.
e.g
hilly/flat
convoy/long distance
In hilly terrain you want a low dB antenna whilst high dB will improve your transmission distance in flat country.
I personally have a 6.5db antenna. One that has the whip on top of the short metal riser. The antenna is then 2dB with just the riser or 6.5dB with the antenna attached.
Having said this just pick one that is most practical to fit. Unless you are really concerned with range it probably doesn't matter too much. This antenna is the 3rd I have had in my ute. I busted the other two so I bought this one mainly because of its construction and that it won't get busted by scrub.
