un joint CVs for Nissans

Post by duncan »

looling through some old mags and now through a lot of jeep stuff and they all run uni joints in their front axles in stead of burfield joints as they are called in america I saw a add from Warn a couple of years ago for conversion kits for landcruisers to replace the burfield joints with stronger axles and uni joints that were heaps stronger
Can anyone tell me why no one is looking in this direction to strenghten the front end of nissans or why the landcruiser kits never took off instead of trying to make the stock set up stronger by hardening parts and welding rings on

The american seen has heaps of rigs running huge tyres 44s plus still useing a strenghtend uni joint setup

And I am probably in trouble now :finger:
