Who has a sierra trasfer in a Jimny??

it's not a cheap option, as far as i know you need to shorten your jack shaft & one drive shaft (and change drive shaft flanges), you need to fab mounting arms and a speedo pickup, bla bla bla...

only want to know what they did to adapt the VSS from the Jimny case to the sierra case.....

the answer is there if you are using a jimny vss.

you need to get a ring made that resides on a tailshaft spacer.

the ring must have 25 teeth and the sensor is mounted on a bracket off the TC so it sits just over the ring. i think the sensor needs to be NO MORE THAN 1mm away from the ring or it will not work.

as far as i know one way to do it is to use a sierra shaft for the rear but it has to be lenghtned and the jack shaft must be shortened by 50mm

any engineering/metal fabrication place should be able 2 help you. if you design it properley you could incorperate it in a drive shaft spacer rather than having it as an add on component. thats what im planning to do
