SA Newbie

Post by sudso »

Gday, I'm new to the forum and my names Dave. I'm from the upper south east of SA. Where are all the other SA blokes? Am I the only one?
I'm a metal fabricator at a small fabrication business that make bloody big sheds.

I love my fourby and off road touring, fishing, camping, my missus, my son, improving the truck etc. etc. (not necessarily in that order)

I like my job and my boss  ?

I loathe redneck drivers who rip up virgin ground just for fun (too many great places being closed off)

My little truck: 6/98 V6 Rodeo dual cab

Accessories:

ARB winch bar
Warn M8000 winch
Spotties
FlexiFlares
ROH Trak B chromies
Maxis Bravo 10.5R 15" LT/HT's (have to do lots of black top)
9R Desert Duellers on Alloys for spares and dirt
F/glass canopy with roof bars
Cabin roof bars
Rubberised tub
LPG
Long Ranger tank
Roof console/Map Lights
GME UHF
Mud Mats
MP3 CD
Lambswool seatcovers
Rear Step (Home made)
Hayman Reese T/bar

Mods and acc's to come

2" susp lift/longer shocks
Upper ball joint flip
265/80/16 A/T's on Sunraysias (if they fit)
Fender protect. bars and side steps (home made)
Rear tub drawers (home made)
Fridge
Duel Battery system
Roof basket/roof bed (home made)
Snorkel
Whatever other creature comfort the missus thinks of
V8 conversion to haul it all (kidding)

Have to get all this done before we head off on our Oz wide trek but have plenty of time yet

Great to be part of this forum. Its the best one I've found yet, Great blokes

cheers, sudso
