3 litre Diesel using too much fuel

Post by MRGQ »

I have a 2003, 3 litre turbo Diesel and it is using too much fuel,it is a auto with 5 inch lift with 35 inch muds.I only get about 550 klms from 95 litres of diesel,I just want to no if this was the norm with these kinds of mods or does this mean something wrong with the tuning.Any help would be appreciated, Alan.

Is that 550 km what your odo shows?
With 35"s You probobly doing close to 600 km but odo is out due to higher tyres.
What other accesories do you have?

I've got all those accesories, but run 33" and 2" lift.
I get about 14-15 lt/100 km in city, and I'm not easy on right foot.

I run 33's with a 2" lift and religiously get about 12.50 l/100kms, but mine is a manual. With yours set up the way it is 20l/100kms would not be unrealistic.
