broken leaf

Post by jacka »

I broke the main spring on the rear of my zook on the weekend. It is a King Spring, any idea where in Melb i can get a replacement, or can I go to any suspension place?

probably better to buy 2 new mains... replace both at the same time - cos a new one will never be the same as the other one you got on there.

Correct me if im wrong - cant you take the main leaves off a stock pair? isnt the lifted section in the 2 leaves below the main? if so then it might well be cheaper to go to a wrecker and yoink some packs =)

normally they make lifted spring a touch longer so the shackle angle remains factory with the bigger arch
