i got claws on my 45 as you already know, id get them for sure, i payed 290each for the exact tyre you are after, 33x12.5 radial claws, if you are going to use them as your street tyre as well i would not get the bias ply, depending on the year of your cruiser it is legal to run bias ply on road as some cruisers came with bias ply tyres on them (thats vico ruling anyway).
however they are not very nice to use on road from what ive heard,
plus you would be looking at around 800 a tyre for bias ply claws i believe,
my 2c worth

my claws are quiet and are very good on road, both driven on a auto locked 40 and a open 45 and never have had a problem with them, behave alot better on road than bfg AT's and hancook muddies (similar tread pattern to bfg muddies)Micka wrote:For an all-rounder, go with the MT/R.
For balls out driving and little concern about noise, wear and general behaviour on road

I have driven with with MTRs along side an almost identical car with Bajas and would go the baja's because they do everything the MTR does on road and in the dry and so much more in the mud. I had a set of 35 claws, they were stolen with 95% tread still, I liked them so much Im buying another set

but they are no good in mud, if you want a really good cheap muddy, try the Wan Kings, BRILLIANT, better than boggers too, but 1/10210923804239409th the priceantt wrote:i prefer the bing woks, much tuffer sidewallbogged wrote:At last a new thread on tires that hasnt been done 3 dozen times in the last 2 weeks...
I say go the Ling Chings.
I run bias claws on my days out bush. They are great off road but getting to the tracks can be a bit dodgy, add rain to that and you really have to concerntrate let alone tram tracks in Melb. The radials would behave alot differently I'ld presume but I'ld probably go the MTRs for a more allround tyre.
humbly apologise for bringing any facts to this thread I will crawl back under my rock and die..RoldIT wrote:Shutup and go back your bullshit slinging ... nobody wasn't constructive comments from you!bogged wrote:Id say MTRs all roundredzook wrote:mtrs if you wheel rock

p.s. Claws
also noting that most people who get claws are mentioning looks or bling which is code for small penis syndrome.

it was 15 people who voted claws and 2 of them mentioned looks or bling, which hardly qualifies as "most".
