New cluster, addition of oil pressure guage

Post by TinyGQ »

Hey as anyone that read my last post would know i have just replaced my instrument cluster. This new cluster was off of an ST and has a couple of extra guages, a volt meter which works fine and an oil pressure guage which im guessing needs a sensor or something??

Can anyone tell me wha i need to get to make it work??

Cheers

yeah i'm not exactly sure but my guess would be the oil pressure switch would need to be changed to a fancier one than the regular "no pressure, no pressure, no pressure....THERE WE GO" one (thats what i reckon an oil pressure switch would sound like) with a "hey i got this much pressure, hang on i got this much pressure now" one. that'll have to come genuine from nissan probably too. then you gotta wire the thing up which may bet a little complicated..... see how ya go

i'd highly doubt it that it'd just be a plug in job
