Front spring hangers (i think ive muffed it big time)

Post by spazbot »

I think ive f@cked up
the front passenger side hanger its out a little and has a slight turn on it pointing in towards the center of the car

will this be a major problem ???
the springs still sit in on and the bushings should allow it to correct its self ?

Is it best that i hack it off and put a new one on??or should it be ok, its out by a few degrees but i can definatly see that its not dead straight

IMO:
I think it would be better to get it so you are happy with it now (so it is straight) because if it causes trouble in the long run you will wish you had of fixed it now. Less hassle in the long run..

Hope it works out for u.

If the pin still goes in with only a slight bit of persuasion I'd keep them as is. Otherwise choppy choppy!

Put down the crack pipe, examine your shackle hanger again, fire up the internet, smoke some more fresh, take another look at hanger, admit your stupidity on the WWW  now get some more mull and have a chuff, and realise its probably straight.
