Hi Ruggers Im putting a 1HZ into a FJ73.
I had planned on using the F fuel cut solemoid wire to the 1HZ fuel pump solenoid.
The tacho drive needs the 1HZ tacho but Im still not sure how you do that.
There is a brown wire and a red wire on the pump tacho drive.
I was handing that over to an auto electrician,he says its simple; )
I was going to use the F fuel return line to the tank(I dont think the BJ73 has one as the B motors recycle the fuel back into the filter?
Im using the old fuel line to the charcoal canister as the vent line to the filler tube by shortening it
To the tank is better for the 1HZ,I think the fuel needs to be the correct temp.
I was looking at the Yanmar 1HD FTE converted to a marine engine.
The specs says it has 20 more HP when the fuel temp is at 40c than when its 25c.
Im not sure if that applies to the non turbo landcruiser 1HZ
For the alternator I am extending the current alt wiring from L to R.
Im scrapping the OEM glow plug relay in favour of a simple set up.
For a wiring diagram I would get a Gregorys # 513 for $29
What year is your 1HZ?
