I've had the OME 2" lift for over a year now and have been waiting for my current set of tyres to wear before committing to new rubber. The time is nearing and I'm checking my options. The standard tyre is a 235/75R15 on the alloy 6.5x15 rims.
I want an AT tread and am looking at going up to 255/70R15 which maintains the diameter fairly well and gives a little more width. Anything larger like 265/70R15 requires a 7inch rim. Or do they?
Can I retain the original 6.5" rims and with a larger tyre, or do I need to look at going new rims to get 7" in either 15 or 16? Not out to spend too much.
Any recommendations on a suitable AT tyre as well?
Thanks,

Wayne.
Wayne - I can't say for sure, but some of the Fronteras had 16" wheels. I have a set of 5 x 245/75 Cooper STs on Prado rims selling under "Tyres " on this site. Prev used as a spare set for camping, however time did not permit. Done less than 1,000km. Here's the link - paste this into your browser.
