Post by soo33y »

Hey guys,

Where to get FLexi Flares from in Sydney area ?

I'm looking to get a set for a LN106 Hilux.

Roughly how much should I expect to pay ?

Cheers,
Daniel.

65mm Flexiflares usually sell for about $150 - front and rear

I got the same stuff from a rubber extrusion supplier for 11 bucks a metre.

Whole car = $55

Are Bunnings flares rubber or hard plastic?

If they are hard plastic types and stick straight out like those in the pic's with no rolled edges, then I would think that they'd be illegal

In fact I thought that anything that protruded past the extremities of the width of the vehicle original or trailer was illegal unless it conformed to ADR's..........but laws differ from state to state

My local Autopro store was discounting all of their Bushranger gear.
I bought flexiflares for the trailer for $50 a pair.

Not sure if its a local or national thing

Quiet micky, otherwise I'll slap you :finger:. If the sticking past the extremities thingie rule is as described then that would mean your spotties are illegal would it not :finger: . The flares look bling

my spotties, or pedestrian killers as they are otherwise known are so far illigal its not funny. there only there to take the attention away from my illigal bunnings flares
