Camira tbi onto g13

Post by nicbeer »

Hey all,

After i had to get towed from lancelin with clapped out carby (acc pump is dead poss.) And a leaky wh bearing with associated diff noise. eww I want efi and no carby crap,

Anyone played with the camira tbi units? I want to transfer the tbi setup onto the zook. Looks possibly easier than the mazda idea.

I understand a spacer needs to be made. Would the zook dissy be able to drive the camira computer? not to woried about the memcals and wiring as plenty on the net on that stuff.

cheers

thinking of anyway.

gotta talk to a couple mates to see how hard the manifold is to adapt and what sensors are needed for if the dizzy can stay the orig zook.

Any one else with tech info?

Where did u take the dizzy to get done? A autospark or engineering.

cheers

i agree with rhett. camira stuff is only about 100 to get and the extra ontop for fuel pumps and that.

In the microtech it does not include the throttle body and wiring harness i think also.

Btw Rhett - how is yours going now. more reliable and power?

cheers

Ok it cost more but it can be tuned for supercharging / turbocharging it comes with wiring harness and book and will work with camira throttle body.

Did you get the Delco remaped or just run it as for the camira ?

Rhetts was a mazda 121 1.3 injection.

i am considering the LD astra tbi unit as it is the 1.6 and should work on the 1.3 better using same computer as well.

Btw the delco cpu can also do superchargers and the like.

yes it is all you have to do is graft the nissan dizzy to the zuk dizzy ,eg cut them in half and join together, easier than you thinkor machine up an adaptor if you want bling
used an import 1.3tbi throttle body set up with the pulsar / astra harness and sensors

Thats what I have already done. I wouldn't call it fitting it straight up to the zuke motor though.
