New clutch time!
Okay folks...actually got the dosh to do something about my clutch now hehehe.
Anyone recommend a good but cheap aftermarket clutch kit for the Feroza? I'm going to attempt to install myself...should only take me a week
I don't want to go ceramic type tho...don't like how they perform.
Current clutch has done me 70,000 k's and god knows how many before I bought it...pretty damm good in my books! But now..it's smells after a 4wd trip, and slips after the trips too (alright after an overnight cool down) and also seems to have developed a rattle...which is not good....but hopefully goes away

Hi Murray,
I just fitted a new clutch. Made by Daiken, It's a heavy duty and it feels great after the Repco crap I fitted last time. If you like PM me and I will give you the Model number. I paid $285.00 for the kit.
if you email them from their website they will give you the name and number of the closest agent.

I got mine from Global Auto Spares.. cant remember what I paid for it. But mine has done about 60,000 now and doesnt even feel like shitting itself anytime soon.
If ya want Murray, I can come up and give you a hand one weekend. I have had my gearbox out at home a few times so could be a bit of a 'master'.

The web site your looking for is www.daikinclutch.com.au. Hope this is of some help.
Murray,
I paid $285.00 for my Daiken Heavy Duty clutch kit. I could purchase it from the same mob (Brookers Brakes in Rydalmere) and send it up if you like.
Or you could call them and arrange payment and delivery. 0298071466. The price was discounted from $431.20. DAM good clutch.
Fark that local distributor.
