Warn Winch Question

Post by BOB_1 »

I have GU patrol with the factory bullbar. Until half an hour ago it had a XD9000 winch fitted to it. I decided that the high mount sitting in my garage would fill the gap better so ripped out the low mount and started measuring. From my measurements, Although tight, the highmount should fit in the gap and bolt up to the original low mount bolt holes. The only problem is the low mount was mounted upside down so the cable ran over the top of the drum, The highmount runs underneath. Can the highmount be set up to run the cable over the top of the drum?, so I don't have to get out the plasma cutter and mig to make it fit.
