For starters, i drive a zook and we're known to be tight fisted bastards at the best of times :D

Seriously, what sort of $ would they usually go for, if it's too much i'll start looking for something else.

I reckon you'd be looking at almost a grand for a full set new. All TJ owners are chasing them so it's VERY unlikely you'll get a set secondhand.

jeeps - he means he wants some stock ones off someone's jeep.

When us jeepers change to wider tyres we generally have to change to new 6" or 7" flares to cover them properly.

Warn flares from ARB are around $900-1000
You can get uglier looking cheap 6" ones for around $6-700 I believe.

Damo - I would of given you mine for a slab, but I bought some extenda flare crap and am screwing that onto my stock flares and then cutting them up for clearance. Will be ugly as hell, but will get the job done.

$89 for 6 metres of 2" wide extruded rubber flares beats $900 anyday.

You might want to try contacting Tony Whitehead @ usa4x4.
It is in mordiallac, he may have some as they are always upgrading peoples stockers. tony at usa4x4.com.au

Where is Hammond Jeep? Got any contact details?

I have lined up a pair of fronts and now it loox like I am going to go trayback so I prolly wont need the rears. But it'd be nice to know where there is a set just in case...

Damo, I just put on a set of bush wacker 6inch flares onto my 2000 TJ (damn cop's finally got me) just two days ago. Reading your past comment regarding you only need the rears now, I'd like to get rid of the lot if possible. My right rear had a tree branch attempt to push through the top of it so it's a tiny bit distorted but the rest just have 2 years of general wear. I'd be looking a flogging them off for around $250...

Email me if your interested

The new address for Hammond 4WD Centre is:

The new store opens on January 28 and Garry is doing some super opening deals too. :D
