Air flow sensor?

Post by muttley »

Do the 2.8td gu's have the same problems with air flow sensors as the 3.0td?

Reading many threads and forums about this problem, I seem to have many of the same symptoms. Blowing lots of smoke when taking off through to about third gear, lack of oomph down low. When off-road on steep slopes, the revs tend to drop off a bit also and when I put the foot down a touch more they drop right off to the point of stalling sometimes.

The fuel pump raises its head in few threads with similar problems as well.

Any ideas guys, thanks.

Yes it was changed. I was thinking of putting it in for the 110000 service and getting it looked at soon, so will add that to the list of things for them to check. Thanks
