COULD ANYBODY HELP ME IM AFTER SOME PLANS,DESIGNS AND MEASURMENTS FOR A FRONT TUBE BAR TO SUIT MY 83 MODEL HILUX ANY INPUT WOULD BE AWSOME THANX...
Secondly there are very few pics for you to look at currently as pics are down, but do a search for tube bars in the general tech, suzuki and toyota sections.
This will give you some ideas on material selection and hopefully some of the pics are up so you can see some different styles.
Not many people bother with plans or measurments, most decide on a style, maybe make a sketch or two of it on the front of their truck, take the old bumper off and start fabbing.
If you don't have the skills or equipment post up and someone from your relevent state will most likely chime in and offer to make one for you.
You will need a welder, grinder, a cheapo bender from ebay, supercheap or tool shop, a dawn die for the bending of the tube [you'll find this in your searching] and some steel.
If you don't find what you need on outerlimits or have LOTS of spare time
on your hands, look through http://www.pirate4x4.com, mostly in the toyota section and you'll find many many tube bars to check out.
