Part Identification for a Rocky / Fez / Fourtrak / Sportrak

Post by Sneezing7 »

Well, after a couple of weeks of solid work my Fez is ready to hit the road again!! basically my biggest dilema at the moment is trying to find out what drivers door mirror is required. From What I can understand the Daihatsu's had the following options:

1) Electric Mirror
2) Manual Mirror (with adjuster knob inside the cabin)
3) Manual Mirror (no knob - just simply push into place)

Originally my car had option 3, but I would like to know whether option 1 or 2 will also fit?

Also, the end caps for the front bumper. Are these a universal item across the range?

Thanks in advance

All the mirrors should bolt straight in, but you'll need the control panel for the electric mirror (plus you might be missing the wiring looms?)

Before my 'little altercation' with a tree... I had option 3. The panel beaters replaced it with a generic sail area mirror with control knob (doesn't look daihatsu to my untrained eye). They just attacked the sail area with a ruddy great drill bit (left swarf hanging everywhere of course) for the control lever to poke through.

I'd take a photo of the craftmanship involved... but the feroza is away on holiday (grrrr)
