fuel pump

Post by whiteknight »

Have a turbo and was thinking of a boost compensator but got quoted $600 from a local turbo shop to get one fitted to my 2.8D pump. I have got a price of $300 for a pump from a 2.4 surf with a boost compensator already fitted from an importer and wanted to know if it would be advisable to swap pumps and put this onto my 2.8 or would the compensator part fit my existing fuel pump?

I have not had any work on my existing fuel pump and I have 110,000km on the clock.

Is the 2.4 pump the same as the 2.8 or are they different?
