How much should I ask?

Post by smellypaddler »

Hi Guys,

I am contemplating selling my Feroza and was wondering what sort of price I should be asking. It is a SXPII in reasonable condition. It has a couple of small dings on the bodywork and some scratches. Everything else is good. 210,000 kms, new clutch (12 months ago), new waterpump and timing belt just done. It has supercrap auto driving lights wired in front and rear. I have an average condition soft top as well as the hard top and I have just put 235/75 x 15 Wrangler M/TR's and new sunnies on it (less than 5000kms) I have the original rims and some shitty but roadworthy tyres.

Anyway whatdya reckon. I need to sell and if I put it too high it won't go and if I put it too low I'll be pissed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've been looking at some lately.. all stock standard with no extras like soft top/ wheels etc and theyre asking about 9g. ( I know bloody car yards)...
Theyre fairly sought after mate and people seem to be wanting to buy them a lot now.

Have a squiz on carsales.com.au and those sites and see what you're up against to get a rough idea.

I reckon around the 7g mark you'd be sweet.

Cheers, Nick

I just bought mine for $7500. Wouldnt have considered paying too much over that for a feroza. Its 1993 SXPII, had 150 000km's and had side steps, bullbar, roof racks and some enkei rims with 29s. Apart from that it came with at least 2k with of mechanical repairs for me to sort out.

Still thinkin about sueing the f*ck that did the "roadworthy" on it.

Cheers

I'd be starting at >$7000- all depends on the condition of it (interior, paint work etc.)

Good ones are hard to find.
