Clutch line extension

Post by smitty »

G'day.

Installed my body lift (GQ coil cab) and noticed when i went to put the middle locating bit in the bracket that it dosn't give the line much play.

Wondering if anyone knows of any places or shops that sell extended clutch lines for 2" body lift Around the redlands area in brissy.

Gonig to go and ask redlands 4wd when i get a chance to see if they ahve them but if anyone knows of anywhere that shoudl ahve em on the shelf that would be great. Want to try and get my truck back on the road this weekend.

Cheers.

All you need is someone that makes brake hoses. I use BHSS. They will make the hose up to whatever length you need. http://www.bhss.com.au/Frictionandnew.html

They are at Bowen Hills if you are willing to travel a bit. Otherwise let your fingers do the walking, you may have a brake specialist around the corner from you that can make hoses too.

You shouldn't need a longer clutch hose for a 2 inch lift in a GQ. There will be one clutch hose that's tight, however you can just bend the bracket a bit and it fixes it

i got one made up my allied brake and clutch in cranbourne victoria, as mine split, cost me $40 so i thought that was allright. But most brake places should be able to do it.
