Post by InSanE »

my eyes are starting to sting so i have had enough searching trying to find my answer i have a GQ Patrol LWB wagon and i would like to know how mutch lift my truck has in it it measures, front - 420mm, and rear - 440mm i measured it from the top of the 15" rim to the bottom of the guard i am curious as i was next to my mates GQ and he has supposid 2" lift and mine sits higher then his. all i have in the vehicle is a 2" body lift.

Mate if your front bumpstop is in good nick (ie not broken off at all) you should be able to get a measurement off that.

Measure inside coil from bumpstop to locating pad at bottom.

Standard GQ is about 65mm so if you have a 2" lift you will have 50mm more than this.

hope this helps

if yours only sits marginally higher could it not be the fact the suspension lift in yours mates car has sagged a bit whereas your body lift of course can not sag? just a thought. nev

his spring lift was fitted 4 weeks ago tho thats what made me qurious,

i just measured the front bump stops and they both are 65mm so maybe my mate got ripped with his spring lift

I have a relatively new 6" lift which lifted it around 6.5" from standard and it measures 490mm front and rear.
