IFS HELP IN 4RUNNER!!

Post by boogdude »

Just finished putting in the ifs rears in my car. Got the 200mm eye to eye shackles from slayer(Done a good job). The rear is sitting heaps lower than i expected. And worse the rear wheels look like they will hit the guards. I knew it would move the diff back a bit, but with advice from guys on here they said it would be fine.. Havn't driven it yet but looks close. I have read about putting blocks under the springs, but won't i need a track bar. I what about the handbrake cable.

Is it worth getting the springs reset to match the front???
Any help from any guys who have done this would be much appreciated as i am now lost.

You can get those axle relocaction plates to move the axle forward again to the centre of the wheelarch that should fix ya problem but wont give you anymore height..
