Major Tyre Repair place Melbourne

Post by Harps »

Hi All,

I put a very nasty tear in the upper side wall of one of my new tyres. I have been told i can get a 'major repair' done it on by both a friend that used to work at a tyre place, and also a tyre repairer in Sale. I am again told that this is not the job for your 'normal' tyre dealer.

Does anyone know of such a place in Melbourne? I will ring around tomorrow as today is a holiday, but thought I would ask here first. Otherwise I better start saving for a new tyre :(

I had a real bad tear in one of my 37 MTRs and had it fixed by a local tire place, but they sent it away to a tractor tire repairer. It is repaired and is fine now but its meant for offroad only. No one wuld notice though.

Try tractor places for advice.
