Have searched without any luck (18 pages)

A mate who has a 99 Diesel SR5 Hilux and wants to fit a Dual Batt system but dosn't want the 2nd batt in the tray... where can it fit under the bonnet and what has to be moved!!! He has been quoted something 1k todo the job!!!

YEP. Got two batteries under mine. (tray)
A mate has a battery under his ute body.
Fitted under floor above diff, between fuel tank and spare.
Allways been a TOYOTA man.
Now I'm old and grumpy as well.

4wd systems did one for my dual cab petrol - just needed to move the charcoal cannister - might be worth giving them a call.

it's diesel... and the quotes he has got are around 1k including battery and system. That’s just stupid!!!

i think his is a little different (had a quick look a week ago) seemed to be more room up near the brake master cylinder... will pass it on thatnks for the help
