2000-04 IFS Hilux ---HELP

Post by V6XtraHilux »

Hey Guys,
Need some help from IFS Hilux owners. I think I may have some bent wishbone support brackets, so need some measurements. Would save me having to crawl under peoples trucks in the local shopping centre!!

Please click on the link to see the pic of the measurements I need......

Heaps of thanks in advance to people who take the time to help me out.

Cheers

Dear Karl

I crawled under mine and got some measurements.

A = 440mm
B = 422mm
C = 42mm
D = 50mm
E = 235mm

I am a bit concerned about the C and D value.
I did re check it and it came out the same.
Mine has had a hard life.But it still drives nice.
Hope it helps.
Mabey a front bundera SAS like me is the go!

Cheers

Checked the measurements against mine, and the wishbone supports come pretty damn close, except for the 50 and 42mm measurements for C and D.

Mine are closer to about 80mm measured by eye cos the supports at the pivot points are about 100mm down from the chassis so bit hard to get an accurate measurements.

But it proved that im not that far out, so my bumpy ride isnt caused by those babies being farked, which is good.

Again, many thanks for helping out.
