Hi guys
Got a set of 2" springs from Off road 4x4 and Pro Comp dampers. Truck is 94 Y60. Looking at 16x8 wheels and 285/75 16 tyres. I think this gives an overall dia. of just over 33". Anyone got any experience of this setup for clearance or any other suggestions if clearance is an issue.
Cheers Alex

CLearance
I ran 2" (think they where really listed as 40mm) Old Man Emu coils and Koni shocks on my SWB GQ with 285/75R16 tyres and it was a real good setup. Went most places did lots of travelling. No need for caster correction (tail shaft didnt even have vib's).
I did roughly 150 000km on this setup with varying loads from pretty much empty, to more shit than I needed. And had no problems.
As for rubbing. They may rub slightly on the front mud flaps. I just chained mine back to the side step, until I tore them and the flares off (on tight ruts, trees, and rocks).
Also another spot is the inside edge of the rear guards. The only fix for this is lower the rear bump stops abit. They didnt rub much and didnt do it much so I never worried about it. Little tyres will rub here even on 6-7" lifted trucks with 3" BL's. Only fix is limit up travel. Which I wouldnt worry about. Just spray it with cheap black spray paint every now and then.
