Solid Axle Swap for 100 Series

Hi All,
I.m New to your forum, I have a 100 Series with IFS and after doing another front diff I am currently after advise on a Solid axle Swap.
Any suggestion on who to see/ ask? located in Wollongong NSW so Sydney looks to be the place to go but to who? I have spoken briefly with M&M Custom Engineering and ORI

More trouble than it's worth, the chassis for IFS is different to RFS. Change your driving style or buy a RFS, GXL or Std 100.

have u got a difflock in the front

I did read an article in 4wdmonthly where they were testing some new 4bs and the ifs cruisers front diff let go

they are obviously week when driven hard

A few guys I know with the 8" solid front diffs make sure that they throw out the standard crushable pinion spacer, and install a solid one. Apparently in operation the crushable ones give a bit, and allow the pinion to climb the ring gear, trying to separate them, and shearing teeth. The solid spacer keeps the pinion exactly to where you set it.

For less than the cost of the Toyota spacer, its cheap insurance....
