havn't seen many of these around, any found one for sale it has a efi 2.4l petrol 4 and is coil all round how would this go offroad and is the small engine gunna let it down.

Not many of these models were imported in Australia. Those that were mainly have 2LT engine. They were mainlymade in large numbers as LJ70 for SE Asian market. They are very common in Malaysia.
The vehicle is quite capable offroad, better with some extra mods i.e. suspension. Your 2L petrol enigne is not to be sniffed at, but better upgrades are available.

hey mate i have a 1986 bundera with coils all round i have put a little bit of suspension and a body lift in it, it has a 22R which is a 2.4 4cyl petrol and i have been very pleased with its performance off road. the only thing i find is it tends to lift one of the front tyres every now n them offroad due to the lack of flex but that can be fixed if you want to put the money into it eg 5 link front and A frame back ...
