I need to get my tank tested and was just wondering where the best place to get them tested in sydney was, now i've read it can cost any where from $80 to $250 is this right, and can anyone recommend some one who is capable of doing it on the cheaper side of $250 closer to the $80 mark
TIA
Dixie

LPG TANK TESTING
There is no such thing as a stupid question only stupid people
It depends on the brand of tank and the type of fittings it uses, if it has 3 seperate fittings in a row - in, out, relief, then it shouldt be more than about $120- 150. If it has one large round brss fitting with in, out, gauge, relief all in one then these are expensive and will cost about $200- $250 to test.
I had my twin tanks in the rangie re tested and it cost me $440 for the pair which is about a third of replacement cost.
The place that did mine charge $80 for the test and then the parts on top.
