Hey I am thinking of building a Spare tyre carrier for the Ranige.
Larger tyre do not fit in the trunk and would like to have more space in the trunk.
Appreciate any light you can shed on this and if anyone has done somthing similar before thanks.
Jay

Hi Jay,
I've got a home made (I didn't make it) wheel & jerry can carrier.

It's not currently on the vehicle, because I backed into a tree.
It's made from RHS, and has gas struts to hold each half open.
It also has recessed lights. Don't do this..
It made the thing very weak at these points, and subsequently broke with a bit of a knock.
I reckon extra lights on the rear screen (up high) is the go, as the frame (RHS) and wheel (LHS) covers the existing lights.
