I got mine off with a scraper and lots of thinners, but it took a while.

Tint shops can do it quickly by steaming it off....

Once you have the film off there is a product you can get from Wollies called Citri Clean or Citrus Clean, it will get the glue off better than anything without damaging your interior.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.
Well they are all following you...

I have done it with a razor blade scaper and thinners and it was a slow painfull process.
Have also heard that tint shops use steam. My old man has a steam wallpaper stripper but I was worried that putting to much concentraited heat into one spot might shatter the glass.

guys, use a heat gun or hairdryer to remove the film, done properly this should remove most all of the glue aswell.

as for the residue glue, use goof off .

On the rear, i have done the razor trick. worked good. demister never worked anyway. If u still want the demister working might be better to get someone to do it, v/easy to damage.

Is this on the LWB canopy?

On an old commodore I owned I did the front drivers and passenger windows with a blade and some ammonium. Took it into a wondow tint shop to get the rest taken off. I did this mainly because I didn't want to damage the demister but when I picked the car up and inquired about it they said they held no responsibility if it was broken :bad-words: . So if you're going to take it to a shop ask them first wether or not they will warrant the demister system. Also this shop said they used a blade and soap to get it off.

On a side not if you're getting window tinitng done some places will charge only a small fee to get the old stuff off (maybe $30) when getting new tint, where as just getting the tint removed cost me about $65.

use paint remover/stripper, then wash with dishwashing liquid, but be careful of your interiors.

I removed the film first and then went to work with a bottle of meths and a lint free cloth. I found that it worked best once the meths had soaked into the cloth a bit and I got a bit of a roll going.....it came off pretty quick.
