howdy guys and girls,

dunno if anyone noticed but i havent been around for abiout 3 weeks, been away with the girlfirend up the coast of NSW, barringotn tops, crowdy bay, point plomer, woody head, lennox head and uki, had an awesome time, got ina bit of driving even though didnt really go for driving, but did HEAPS of sand driving, always fun and a bit of driving up in the tweed valley near uki, the mountains there are STEEP! even the fire trails up there feel like ur gonna flip over backwards, but it was good and im back and hopefully get plenty of driving in before uni goes back, and for anyone keen for a drive pm me for the wattos mostly, but maybe appin and the like, good to be back, but now im 3 weeks behind on the forum,

yeh dude, as far as beaches go, around those areas, i did crowdy bay, just south of port, its a 5km gravel track from the nth or 18kn gravel from the south, theres dunbogan beach there, its 9km long, permit required, bit of driving up a few of the management trails in the nat park, good beach driving, and point plomer, just nth of port, take the ferry over at settlement point from port and follow the orad that follows the beach to plomer, can drive the beach or track, track can vary i drove it in 2WD on road pressures the whole way but have been told that sometimes low pressures and low range 4WD is required, permit required long long beach there to drive up to plomer and can play around on that, and also drove on the beach around iluka at woody head and lennox head, plenty of beach driving and a little bit of bush stuff, but theres plenty of beaches around :D
