About to go over the HJ60 from top to bottom to get it ready for another years worth of abuse and off road driving :P

Heres what I have planned to do...let me know if there is anything else that is worth looking at.

1) oil and oil filter change
2) radiator flush
3) gearbox/transfer case oil change
4) diff oil change (front and rear obviously)
5) grease any grease nipple in sight
6) repack wheel bearings and check cv's

I also have a snapped manifold stud, where the manifold is held to the head...not the extractors to the manifold! anyways...it is one of the bolts towards the back of the motor.

Is this a easy thing to fix or can I expect a drama filled event that would make it worthwhile to get a mechy to fix it?

Can you get a drill in there, might be able to drill it out, then use some easy outs to get the stud out?

easy outs arent so easy if its loctited in there or rusted in, ive heard of another way to get them out, sharpen a suitable sized drill the opposite way to normal and drill into the stud/busted bolt anti clockwise. Dont know if it will work but its worth a try (havent done it myself) you can always try the easy out afterward.
