Rodeo Transfer

Post by Hoppy11 »

Just wondering about the control for the current Rodeo transfer case, I know that it is operated by buttons on the dash, so does the buttons on the dash operate some sort of actuator to select the gears.
Cheers

My 4x4 has a push button 4WD selector.. it works with the electric switch on the dash activating a vacuum switch, which then in turn actuates a solenoid on top of the transfer case. This moves a plunger inside the transfer case.. and engages low/high range 4x4 gearing.

It may be similar, although I am not 100%.

Are you having problems??

Nick.
