noise when spinning tyre

hey,

i jacked up the drivers side of my sierra to check the tyres

The tyre doesnt move more then 1mm but when i turn it, it makes a scraping noise like ScrhhHhh what could that be?

Front or rear? Could be the brakes dragging.

if it is drum brakes will just be the shoes on the inside of the drum, or mud and shit jammed up in their,

If its the front wheel, and it turns easily, after initial effort, its just the brakes. They should touch just a bit.

it is both the front

the passenger side there is 2 noises.. the disc and some whirring noise
drivers side its just the disc

u hear a squeaking when im actually driving and the tyres dont move around smoothe at all :(

same thing happen in my lux, was the wheel bearings full of shit with no grease!

the discs have scrathes on them but dont look to bad!! so i will get the bearings done

won't hurt to do em both cos it could hurt you on both accounts if they fail ;)
