won't it be 1.22 x whateer it is currently?

that's assuming 22% reduction in high range

increasing gear ratio will increase engine revs
increasing tyre size will decrease engine revs

for example, if currently 31" tyres, 3000rpm at 100kph
if you increase high range reduction ratio by 22% with rockhopper, you will now need to rev 3600rpm to go 100kph
if you then increase tyre size to 33" (that's a 6.5% increase from 31"), your revs will decrease to 3424rpm

mud4b I have a spreadsheet that does the sums for ya if you want
just plug in ratios/tyre size and it'll give you rpm in each gear for a range of speeds...
If it's already been thought of...
There has to be a better way...
