lowbeam problems

when i turn the headlights on ( lowbeam ) the park lights work but not the headlights.

if i put the highbeam and spotties on and then off they come on most times , otherwise ive gotta switch the lights on and off a few times to get them 2 work ?



im guessing the lowbeam relay is on its last legs ????

in a '90 TB4.2 GQ :P

yeah check the relay, tis the most likely thing, may be worth doing th eheadlight upgrade when you rooting around there, one of the best thigs I did on mine, took the slpotties off for more airflow for the turbo and find I dont even want the spottie cept on the big country drags heading to cobah

Hi bilby, most vehicles with headlight relays have both a high and a low. Try swapping the two around and see if you still have a problem.

If the same problem persist then try the headlight switch.

If the problem moves to high beam then the problem is as use suspect.

If the problem goes away then you may just have a bad relay socket connection.

was a combination of old relay and bad connection pins on the passenger side headlight

new relay was overloading still, so sandpaper on the pins on each headlight and its now



ALL GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just a little left of insanity :)
