bar from seat belt to tub

Post by germo »

I need a picture of a stock bar that runs from the seat belt into the rear tub.

the engineer is wanting me to put one in that is an inch diameter, and I can't work out how I am going to get it in there.
and I don't have stock bars to look at.

this is the best pic, I could find.
but if someone with a digi can take a few snaps of theirs and show me, that would be awesome!

I am guessing this is legal as i have done similar when mounting my cargo barrier from the back of the top seatbelt mount. thinking this is the stongest point apart from bolting through the whole body.

thanks

that is awesome, thanks!

I wondered how they tucked back in behind the seat belt!

I think I will just get a stock one and modify that.

another question
what is the diameter of the bar?

thanks heaps ashley

They should do, as the hoop behind the seats is a main rollover protection point, and that bar is to strengthen it.
