Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I see there is a thread on a gti head on a 1.6 etc but did not want to jump on that .
I have a 16v vitara motor with a cracked head . Also a 16v 1.6 swift carbed motor . Will the 16v block run ok with a 1.3 head , as it has efi already .

Which 1.3 head? Is it a 16v too? If it's off a G series motor it should fit but if it's only an 8v you will be giving away a lot of power. If it's a 16v from a Swift then because the Vit runs north/south you will need to look at changing the cam and distributor to clear the firewall. I don't know how the 1.3 sohc 16v valve sizes compare to the 1.6 either so that may be something to check.
